Lana Salahalddin Muhammad Khurshid

Mrs. Lana Salahalddin Mhamed Khurshid is a passionate and dedicated educator with over two decades of experience in the education sector. She currently serves as the Supervisor of the Innovation Lab at Aram Village Primary Co-educational School, where she fosters( creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative learning )among both students and teachers.She earned her B.Sc. in English Language from the College of Education, Salahaddin University, in 2004, followed by an M.Sc. in Sociology and Social Policies from Kurdistan University–Hewlêr in 2012.Throughout her 21  years in education, Lana has worked as an English language teacher across various institutions — including {international, public, and private schools — teaching} both girls and boys at multiple grade levels. Before joining Aram Village, she served as the Principal of the Primary School at the Barzani Namr Educational Complex during the 2024–2025 academic year. She also spent over eight years at the General Directorate of Curricula and Printings, where she contributed as a socio-educational researcher and specialist in English language curriculum development. In 2013, Lana played a key role in the launch of the Rwanger Foundation, serving as its first Head of the Education Sector.She has actively participated in numerous seminars, workshops, and international conferences, most recently attending the Seminar for Cultural Officials from the Belt and Road Countries in China in 2024.Lana deeply believes in the power of teamwork and the collective strength of educators to bring about positive and lasting change in education.
